This is a story about a guy and a girl who are deeply in love with each other, and whose bond is stronger than super glue and epoxy.
It was late in the evening as they walked along the quiet streets of their little town. The air was cold and the streets were damp from the rain that occurred just moments before they stepped out of the movie house.
"That was fun." Said the girl.
She looks up at her guy and gives him a smile that had a hint of sadness in it. They stop. He sweeps her hair away from her face and tucks it behind one ear. He then leaned in and they softly kissed. "Everything is fun as long as I'm with you." he said.
They then continue their walk home. He puts his arm around her and pulls her close as they walked side by side.
Passing through the town square, they were quite surprised that some shops were still opened at such a late hour at night. They stopped by The Coffee Bean for dessert. He had a cup of latte and she had a cup of tea, and they shared a slice of cheesecake.
She takes a small bite off the slice of cake and wines, "This is so good yet so bad. This will make me fat but it's so yummy! Oh dear, I'm gonna get fat again."
He takes her hand, "Babe, you're NOT FAT. In fact, you look GREAT! Girls would kill to have a body like yours. And besides, I wouldn't even care if you put on some weight because I love you for the silly and quirky and amazing girl that you are -not the way you look." he says, rubbing his thumb on her hands.
"Thanks, babe." she says with a smile.
After dessert, they started walking again to her house. They stumbled across a kiosk which sold flowers. It was about to close and there was only three pieces of flowers left. They were three orange roses -her favorite. "Perfect", he thought.
"Pardon me sir, but I'd like to take these last stock of flowers on your stall, if I may?", he queries the stall owner.
"Take it, lad. It's on me." the man gaily responds with a wink.
"Thank you." and he gives the flowers to her.
"Aw, babe!" And she puts her arms around his neck, and tiptoes for a kiss.
"Anything for my baby." he says. And off they went once more into their quiet little journey back home.
The strip was dark for all its shops, but one, have closed. They checked-out the lit window of the shop and on the window was a mannequin with blonde, wavy hair and only a pair of carmine, laced knickers and a matching brassiere.
"Babe, tell me honestly, does it matter if my undies match? Like, do you even care or notice when I do?" She asks him, a bit ashamed.
"Honestly?", he looks into her eyes, "I don't. I don't care whether your undies match or not, you know why?" she shakes her head, "'Cause it doesn't matter!" He takes her hands and they looked deep into each others' eyes, "Babe, I don't care about your undies 'cause what really matters is what's underneath them."
-End of story.
