I like my pencils nice & sharp, arranged by their hue. I want blue next to purple, purple next to red; red next to orange, & orange next to yellow; yellow next to green, & green next to blue.
I like my pizza fresh-off-the-oven hot with its cheese all gooey & stringy. I also like it straight-off-the-fridge cold, its cheese hardened, crust is all quite stale. I like eating it backwards too: crust first, tip of the triangle last.
I like my froot loops with marshmallows, no milk, served in either the orange or pink Hello Kitty plastic bowl. I like to eat all the green loops first, then yellow, then orange, then red, then purple, & lastly blue.
I like my sandwich on wheat bread & toasted. Meat first, then the tomato, & of course the cheese. I like biting the upper right corner first, eat it clockwise 'til i reach the center & kill the last bite.
I like my pants hung according to their fabrics. Camos first, then olive greens; khakis, browns, blacks then denim jeans.
These things may seem weird to you; maybe they ARE weird, but these things make me who I am. Everyone has a few weird things in them & this I am sure of because these weird things make us unique individuals.
This story I
just have to tell. It was about my trip going home yesterday with my carpoolmate,
Geoff. On our way home we decided to stop by Jollibee, a local fast food joint, for food since 1. we're really exhausted & hungry, & 2. it was just the two of us in his car that way it's not hassle. Upon ordering & paying at the first window, the guy lacked Php1.oo for my change so he asked us to just get the remaining peso at the next window. Once we've moved to the next window, the guy there eagerly handed me my Php1.oo & said with a big, eager smile on his face "Is that all ma'am?" Geoff & I looked at each other "Well yeah.." & the guy at the window just stood there behind the window smiling at us. A few seconds of awkward silence & I just had to say "Uhm.. I think we're missing our food. Yeah?" & just like an ice cube unexpectedly touching his skin, he jolted up "Oh yeah! I forgot." Geoff & I just had to laugh as the poor guy stammered to get our food & hand it over to us. "Sorry ma'am I really forgot!"
We had a really good laugh at that.
