The other day I bumped into my bestfriend, whom i haven't seen for about a month. I was ecstatic to finally see him! That moment I saw him I wanted to jump for joy, give him a big hug, hang-out for a bit & do some catching up; but these things were just thoughts swimming in my mind. I thought my thoughts would turn real but they just didn't. What really happened was that he just sat 3 feet off my left, fidgeting, uneasy, complaining about how so much things have been bothering him. It was as if he wasn't my bestfriend but just some boy sitting apart from me. Like I didn't know who he is, or maybe I did but I'm only acquainted with him; he was a totally different person.
During those days when we didn't see each other, I've always dreamt of those fun moments we always have: our inside jokes, our conversations about anything & everything under the sun. I imagined the two of us sitting right next to each other like we always do, playfully punching each others' arm, talking about things & just simply having fun with the smallest things.
That day we saw each other, I thought all these things we always did would happen but sadly it didn't. I thought I was with my bestfriend but I really wasn't. The guy I bumped into wasn't my bestfriend. He may be the same guy physically, by name, but he wasn't my bestfriend. I didn't know him at all. It sucks when you see your bestfriend's face right in front of you & yet you don't recognize him 'cause of his words & actions. I miss my bestfriend & I want him back.
Finally an update & yes, my friends, a nice new layout! This layout I based on Death Cab for Cutie's "What Sarah Said": by far one of the most beautiful songs ever composed in the indie music industry! I'm just really in love with the song right now. Its melody is sad, the lyrics are sad as well. It's a song about a guy waiting for his girl who is at the moment in the ICU, dying. He ponders on what she said to him, he ponders things that shouldn't have happened in the past. If you would wish to hear the song (& watch the video as well), feel free to play the video clip below.
I just got back from my 3-week trip to the US. We 1st went to Florida & raided the parks of Walt Disney World. Disney World's awesome but you will need at least a week to walk every inch of each of the 6 parks.
Must See/Ride:1. Rock & Rollercoaster (MGM Studios) -A hundred times better than Space Mountain.
2. Mission Space (EPCOT) -It's Star Tours in an over-dose of steroids!
3. Summit Plummit' (Blizzard Beach) -The tallest, biggest, practically the steapest slide in the whole of the USA!
4. Tower of Terror (MGM Studios) -This could get your guts all screwed-up. lol
5. Space Mountain (Magic Kingdom) -You'll never know where you're going 'cause all you'll see are stars.
6. Crush 'n Gusher (Typhoon Lagoon) -An awesome watercoaster
7. Expedition Everest (Animal Kingdom) -Go forth, back & around Mt. Everest!
8. IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth (EPCOT) -One of the most beautiful fireworks show ever!
9. Festival of The Lion King (Animal Kingdom) -Be amazed by the talented employees of WDW (note: keep an eye-out for Gaylord the gay dancer at the Giraffe's side!)
10.Kali River Rapids (Animal Kingdom) -You will get wet, you MAY get SOAKED!
There are tons more attractions in WDW but of course I cannot enumerate each & every one of them so i just gave you the top 10 things I loved there. Honestly not many people get to experience such things & I for one am very, VERY happy that I was able to experience this kind of entertainment. Kids around the world dream of going here & I am happy to be lucky enough to have gone to Walt Disney World.
